Etna Golf Resort is set on the slopes of Europe’s largest volcano between the Nedrodi Park, Alcantara Park and Etna Park and enjoys unparalleled views towards Mount Etna.
Accommodation comes in the form of 98 elegant rooms and sumptuous suites within this luxury hotel. Other facilities include Rubia SPA, panoramic outdoor pool, two fine dining restaurants and lounge bar.
Flying to Catania Airport in Sicily, we will travel just over an hour north to our home for four nights and five days for this memorable trip!
Il Picciolo Golf Club
Designed by golf course architect Luigi Rota Carmoli it opened in 1989 and is the first golf course in Sicily. The facilities include a driving range. pitching and putting green – which will use for our golf coaching sessions.
There is an optional excursion (details below) to Mount Etna on our middle “non golf/rest day”
Enjoy daily access to the spa circuit (90 minutes, per person, per day)
Daily breakfast is included and a three course evening meal which will be taken at “La Ghiandaia” Restaurant located within the resort.

Optional Excursion to Mount Etna
The excursion includes a beautiful walk among beeches, pines and lava desert (about two hours) that will allow us to look out from the edge of the Valle del Bove and admire the Etna massif in its grandeur and majesty and enjoy a panorama that ranges from central craters to the Ionian Sea, at the end of the route we will visit a characteristic lava flow cave (equipped with a helmet and front light) and for the sweet tooth there will be a tasting of honey and typical Sicilian products.

Equipment required: Sneakers or trekking shoes (better), layered clothing, windproof jacket, water.
We will leave the hotel at 8.30am and return back at 3pm to 3.30pm
The cost of the excursion is circa 70€ per person (to be paid locally in resort)

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes – a £75 per person deposit payable to Golf Escapes (our official Travel Partner) is required to secure a place with the balance due 3 months prior to the date of travel.
Are the price of flights included?
No – at this early stage we recommend NOT booking any flights until we have reached our required minimum numbers for the holiday to proceed. Once we know the holiday is going ahead we will contact you with the chosen flight details.
Are the arranged return airport and golf transfers included?
Yes – although the return airport transfer will be based on our chosen flights.
Are golf buggies, electric or pull trolleys available?
Pull trolleys are included however electric trolleys and buggies are not included in the price but can be pre-booked in advance (subject to availability)
If I wanted to stay on for extra nights and play more golf, could this be arranged?
Yes – absolutely! (subject to availability)
